The Royal Free London is putting measures in place to protect patients, visitors and staff during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.

During this period, only one visitor at a time is permitted to visit inpatients in our hospitals.

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19, including a fever, cough or breathing problems - or if you have tested positive for the virus - please dial NHS 111 and do not visit the hospital.

Please ensure you wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water before entering the ward and when you leave. Frequent handwashing is effective at reducing the spread of infection.

Please be reminded that normal guidance applies if you are experiencing diarrhoea, vomiting, or flu-like symptoms: please do not visit the hospital.

If you have a special request in relation to visiting a patient, please speak to the nurse in charge of the ward.
