Paul Kimber, assistant director of finance, Beth Foley, operations manager for transplant and specialist services, and Gillian Smith service line lead for urology, have been announced as participants in the first cohort of the UCLPartners Improvement Fellows programme. Paul, Beth and Gillian join a group of over 20 individuals from across north central and east London and Essex who have been brought together to share experiences, learn and challenge each other, with the ultimate aim to drive improvement within their organisations and beyond.

As part of the eight-month programme, Paul, Beth and Gillian will take part in workshops that provide the opportunity to reflect and explore ideas in improvement, as well as hearing from international improvement experts.

Paul, Beth and Gillian will be collaborating with individuals from across UCLPartners to create new ideas, seek opportunities and share learning so that teams and departments across the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust can benefit from the programme. Beth Foley said:

"We are delighted with this opportunity to develop our knowledge on improvement and to use this to design health services to deliver the best outcomes for patients and populations."
