Grenfell Tower fire update
14 June 2017
The Royal Free Hospital has been supporting the major incident response following the fire at Grenfell Tower in Latimer Road during the early hours of this morning. We have treated 12 patients, mostly for the effects of smoke inhalation.
An emergency contact number has been set up for anyone concerned for loved ones, please call the casualty bureau on 0800 0961 233. Please do not call the hospital – we will not be able to provide information about casualties.
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council is helping anyone who needs emergency accommodation and is giving financial assistance to cover their immediate needs.
Residents who are displaced due to the fire should call 020 7361 3008.
