Rob Leak has been appointed the new chairman of Royal Free London Property Services.

Formerly chief executive of Enfield Council, Mr Leak will report to the board of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL), chaired by Dominic Dodd.

RFL Property Services is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the RFL and oversees the management of estates and facilities at the trust.

Mr Leak, who is a trustee of the Royal Free Charity and Edmonton County School, said: “I am delighted to be appointed chairman of RFL Property Services. The Royal Free London has a great track record of delivering property improvements and managing estates and facilities to the benefit of patients and staff.

“This is a great opportunity to expand and develop this work across the trust and I will be working closely with the managing director of RFL Property Services, Andrew Panniker, and the trust board to ensure we can continue to enhance our buildings and improve patient care.”
