This year’s National HIV Testing Week takes place from 22-29 November before World AIDS Day on 1 December. The week aims to boost awareness of HIV testing and  increase the number of people getting tested.

Men who have sex with men (MSM) have particularly poor sexual health, with 51% of new HIV diagnoses in London belonging to this group. In 2012, there were 1,451 diagnoses amongst MSM in London, which represents a 28% increase compared to 2003.

To mark the week the Royal Free London will be hosting a live tweet-in on Tuesday 25 November where our experts will be on hand to answer questions about HIV and sexual health. You can ask questions during the tweet-in via Twitter, or submit questions in advance by emailing rf.mediaenquiries@nhs.net. All questions submitted via email will be tweeted anonymously.

The tweet-in will take place between 10am-12pm. Join us on Twitter @RoyalFreeNHS!

If you have a question that cannot wait until Tuesday, visit the sexual health and HIV pages of our website now to find out more.
