Update: The Tottenham Hale Kidney and Diabetes Centre has now reopened to patients after repairs were carried out last week.

Patients receiving dialysis have returned to the centre for their appointments. Some outpatient appointments may not go ahead as planned due to ongoing work to the upstairs flooring. Patients affected by this will be contacted.

The Royal Free London has temporarily closed Tottenham Hale Kidney and Diabetes Centre.

Affected patients are being contacted directly by text message/and or phone.

Patients who have an upcoming appointment, which is not for dialysis, where possible, these will take place at a different hospital or will be changed to virtual appointments. If this is not possible, the appointment will be cancelled and rearranged as required by clinical urgency.

Appointments are being rearranged for patients who are scheduled to have dialysis and these will take place at the Royal Free Hospital and other satellite dialysis units. Patient transport will be arranged for patients who need it.

These changes have been made due to flooding in the facility. We hope to reopen it as soon as possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
