Biography

Dr Malley graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2013, then undertook his postgraduate medical training in London and Oxford.

Since 2022, Dr Malley has been a substantive consultant at the Royal Free Hospital. He looks after patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering high-quality, patient-centred and personalised care.

As a consultant rheumatologist, Dr Malley is proficient at diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and multi-organ autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis, gout, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, polymyalgia rheumatica, giant cell arteritis and immune checkpoint inhibitor-related rheumatic diseases. He performs joint and soft tissue injections to treat a variety of rheumatic conditions.

Dr Malley also investigates and treats rare autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases, in addition to managing medically unexplained symptoms. His role as an acute medicine consultant principally involves diagnosing, stabilising and treating a wide variety of life-threatening and non-life-threatening medical conditions.
