The Royal Free London also has a vascular studies service who provide the non-invasive diagnosis of vascular problems. Vascular studies provide a direct service to GPs who wish to exclude their patient from or diagnose them with deep vein thrombosis.
There is also an out-of-hours carotid scanning service for patients having transient ischemic attacks and strokes. This service is currently offered only to Royal Free London in-patients.
