Vascular malformation service (AVM)

The vascular malformation service specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with vascular malformations. A broad spectrum of patients can be referred including those with arterio-venous, venous or lymphatic malformations as well as related overgrowth conditions (Klippel-Trenaunay, Proteus, Parkes-Weber).

We work closely with specialists in plastic surgery, haematology, orthopaedics, head and neck surgery, surgical appliances and the paediatric vascular anomalies team at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Clinics usually run on Thursday afternoons.

Referral to the vascular malformation service
Referrals can be sent via email, fax or post and will be accepted from all areas of the UK as well as from overseas (with the approval of our overseas office).
