Chase Farm Hospital (CFH) took centre stage at the Building Better Healthcare Awards, winning in two categories.

The CFH redevelopment team’s scooped the estates and facilities team of the year award after they delivered the £200 million new hospital in less than four years. Typically schemes like this take over 10 years to deliver. The team also ensured the old hospital remained operational throughout the redevelopment.

The hospital and redevelopment team also won the interior building product award for delivering, alongside partners including Total Laminate Systems, an easy-to-clean environment, helping with infection prevention and control.

Natalie Forrest, chief executive of Chase Farm Hospital, said: “It was brilliant to be recognised by our peers for our achievements . We have a hospital which is pioneering new ways of delivering better, safer and more efficient care to the population we serve through new and innovative technology. This is what 21st century healthcare should look like.”

The Building Better Healthcare Awards celebrate the innovation, architecture and people helping to transform patient care.
