Our drop-in HIV service is a nurse-led sexual health service for patients with HIV who receive care from the Ian Charleson Day Centre (ICDC). The service is run on a ‘drop in’ basis to enable you to have a sexual health check-up as and when it suits you.
The service offers confidential testing/treatments for sexual infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, genital warts and herpes, as well as providing information and advice on sexual health. We work in collaboration with other doctors, nurses and health advisers at the Marlborough Clinic for sexual health.
If you are a patient at the Ian Charleson Day Centre and would like to discuss a fast track sexual health screen, please call on of our clinical nurse specialists on 020 7794 0500 and ask for extension 38625. A ‘test and go’ sexual health service is also available for your convenience; please ask one of the ICDC nurses on duty.
From 3 July 2017 sexual health services in the Ian Charleson Day Centre (ICDC) will be provided by the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL).
The care you receive at the ICDC will not change. From this date, if you attend for a sexual health screen or concern you will be newly registered with a CNWL clinic number (instead of a Marlborough number).
The Royal Free London will continue to provide HIV care in the ICDC.
There is more information about changed to sexual health care here.
For more information please ask a member of staff.
