Pond Street closures – 21/22 and 28/29 January
Pond Street will be closed for the next two weekends (8am – 5pm on Saturdays and 10am – 4pm on Sundays) as Agility Alliance undertakes work on behalf of Thames Water on the area between the two hospital entrances.
The street will be closed to through traffic from Haverstock Hill and from Fleet Road/South End Road. Only residents and those requiring access to the hospital will be able to access Pond Street.
The emergency department and patient transport are aware. London Ambulance Service has notified its crews that they will have to access the emergency department from the bottom of Pond Street and the heart attack service from the top of Pond Street.
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is based at numerous sites and locations across north London and Hertfordshire. Please do remember to check which hospital you are due to visit before making your journey. We recommend that you travel by public transport where possible as parking at the hospitals and in the local area is very limited.
